2005 Chevrolet Aveo LSone of mine is burnt up and cracking and barely holds the bulb.
i cant find a fitting one at any auto stores.
and ebay isnt giving me any help.
besides ordering from gm,

I had the same problem when I realized it wasn't the bulb but the tail light socket which looked burned and broken in one side not holding the bulb as well. By luck, I found an Aveo in my local junkyard and took the tail light socket and found out it had the same problem which I didn't realized after I installed and didn't work. You might get lucky find an Aveo in your local junkyards but I'd be aware of that issue otherwise you'll need to shell out the money and buy it the GM/dealer like I did.
does gm just sell the ends? or do you need the whole harness?
I think you listed all the probable sources for a car specific bulb holder.
yeah, ive been to most of the junkyards in town recently,
not only are there no aveos,
but very few chevys newer than 2000.
i guess gm is my only solution then. darn.
The end doesn't come by it itself but with complete harness, measurement is a 1 1/2 foot so isn't bad at all replacing that harness.
I think your best best its getting it at your local GM dealer.
