Nite Shades.....
Has anyone else used Nite Shades?
I just added pictures to my garage, and I noticed now much the Nite Shades has faded. It is no where near as dark as they were (its an obvious difference). I guess it happened so slow, i didnt really notice. I used clear coat too. :-k
I just thought it was strange and wondered if anyone else ran into this problem.

Very common occurance. Niteshades isn't UV stabilized, so as its exposed to sunlight it can loose its pigment. Not a real issue if its clearcoated with an automotive UV Stabilized clear coat, but many of your "rattle-can" clears don't have the extra UV inhibitors.
You'll just have to do a touch up every once in awhile, not that big of an issue.

I just night shaded the front turn signals a couple weeks ago so no fading yet. :) It would have to fade quite a bit before I redo it.

Yeah My clear-coat probably didnt have the UV-inhibitors thats probably why.
Subachad,
Your's probably will over time, just like mine did.
But I'm getting Clear front signals hopefully in about a week or so, so i dont need to worry about them (im gonna most likely keep them Clear and non tinted)... I'll just need to redo my tails.

from the picture they still look pretty good. I really like the look of my car right now, between the keylime green, the gunmetal with polished lip Rota C8's, the 205/50/15 Kumhos, the painted lights, dual tip WRX muffler, and the H&R's. Everything is subtle and clean. I need to get an updated pic and post it.

Yeah Definatly take some pictures... It sounds pretty sweet!
do you have a car domain?
