hid problem
hello everyone ive got a 6000k bi xenon kit in my aveo with the relay harness and most of the time when i start my car and turn my lights on they will turn on fine but in like 30 seconds they start to flicker and then one bulb goes out. then the other one goes out. The problem is fixed when i turn my headlights off then on again. im thinking i may have $hitty ballasts. any help would be great.

Re: hid problem
The only time I had mine flicker was when I tried to plug in the DRL module back in to see what would happen, and that's when they flickered very fast. Sounds like that's your problem, as Oscar has suggested. If not, you might want to look at your wiring harness and make sure everything is plugged in. A new harness is around $10-15 anyways, so not too hard to fix it if that's what's causing it.

Re: hid problem
yes i removed the fuse for the drl before i had this kit. and everything is hooked up, ive double and triple checked everthing. well i just ordered a set of slim ballasts and if that doesnt work then i guess ill have to get a set of new bulbs and harness. not a big deal just a pain in the ass. o by the way this kit was given to me and my buddy bought them off ebay. so ive heard alot about the cheap ballasts off of ebay
