Gonna sound stupid here but that's life

So here I am trying to run some LEDS off the brake wiring.. three wires
Blue, Red and Green and Black..which one do I splice into?

thats four wires. where are you finding these wires? look for the one that goes to the high circuit on the brake bulb.

I believe the way I'm reading that is
1. Blue
2. Red and Green
3. Black

best thing to do is just buy a cheap test light from the auto part store or walmart like 5 bucks and test and see which one is hot and what isnt when you hit the brakes, if im not mistaking blue should be them i think the green and red is the park light but not sure.

You should probably learn about wiring before you start messing with it.
