      Front end conversion idea.

Hello guys... So I've been thinking about a possible conversion idea for a next project (if i ever get to one).

I was thinking if I take a 1st gen Aveo and swap out the headlights, hood, front bumper, fogs, and fenders (if required) from an 07-08 sedan front end... what would that look like? I'm thinking it might be cheaper than a Kalos front end conversion and the parts are more easily available.

      Any opinions?

I almost think the sedan fenders are close enough that you could keep yours.

But it would work. I've been studying the body lines and think the headlamp area around the headlights on the bumper is the same as well. So you could possibly
run the aveo sedan headlights with an aveo5 bumper.

I would in your case do just the headlights and rework all the fiberglass to fit them. It would be just over an inch lower and eliminate the lower turn and mold it into your bumper.

Ok. Thanks for the idea. If I would do it, it wouldn't be on this car, it would be on a next project.

That's an interesting idea too. Someone with both 1st and 2nd gen aveos, do the mounting holes look the same fort the headlights? The bumper is probably swappable too.
