Anyone want/Find aftermarket mirrors for the Aveo??

I was curious if anyone had swapped out the Aveo side mirrors for anything else?

Would you be interested in a mounting piece that allowed us to use mirrors from anyone that would fit a 2001-2005 Honda Civic/ 2002-2005 Civic Si?

I ask cause I picked up a "gimme" set from work that I plan on building an adapter for to fit the Aveo.

They are M3 style that I have... but I'm making adapters so you can use any mirrors from a civic 2002-2005... make Honda parts universal for us to use.

Okay... so a "universal" adapter plate is a real Pain in the Ass...

But I'll post pics of the mirrors that I'm working on.

My pattern plate, made from foamcore board.

here's how it looks behind my new mirrors.

and here's the wood pieces of the template.

Once cutout, I will fiberglass the mirror base to the new wood plate to finish into a final looking piece.

Man, that's work. It'll be sweet when it's done though.

Will it flash with the turn signals?

      If so, cool.

      If not
