2006 Chevy Aveo Hatchback Ute

Hey ya'll!

I wanted to seek anyone's advice and/or opinions on this build I am contemplating. So to preface, my aveo is my daily. The fiance and I are getting buying a new vehicle and getting a lease (we are currently making more money than we thought we would, so we are indulging). But since we are doing that, I am considering doing a heavy modification to the aveo.

My plan is to make her into a Ute. (If anyone is unfamiliar, just google Ute (Australian) I plan to install a roll cage in the back with body supports to increase stability. Anyone have any experience making Utes? Also, any advice to make a weather sealed divider right behind the front seats to install a rear view windshield and make it bearable through winter without having rain or snow come in behind the seats?

Any advice, opinions, etc is appreciated! Thanks!!

Right, practical uses for it wouldn't be objective. But still a fun little project car.

OK, for some ideas, search "Citroen 2CV ute", have a look at some of the custom variations for a short body.
