Hey folks. Could someone point me towards a link to a "how to remove the rear bowtie" please? My car is a 2004. I just blacked out my front badge fine, but I just need to know how to remove the rear Chevrolet Bowtie please! Thank you.

its held on with two sided tape, so dental floss, a plastic spreader, or whatever method you prefer.
It has two holes for positioning behind it though that you will be left with.
Perfect, thank you! Time to break out the old Dental Floss!
the way i did mine was with a hair dryer or leave it in the hot sun all day, it get the glue all tacky, then it will be really easy to pop off. then i would recommend some goof off to get the excess glue off and then wax it to clean it up.
I am planning to put it back on though. I am just removing it to paint it. I will be changing the gold to a semi-gloss black, and leaving the 'chrome' edging around it. I'll probably still clean off the old glue though before adhering it back on. What should I use to stick it back on?
honestly, for that i would probably just leave it on the car.
So just tape off the chrome, and tape some newspaper around the rest of the area then?
That would work.
actually if it the older hatchback model 04-08 i believe you can take off the piece that holds the license plat lights and the bow tie on.
I took mine off today. I just used a putty knife to cut through the adhesive and pulled it off. Eventually it will get painted in class and put back on.
