Who Wants New ENgine/Tranny Mounts?

Okay, so I've talked with another contact of mine concerning making engine mounts, tranny mounts, and the UD pulleis for the Aveos. Since they already build many parts for GM based cars, they are willing to add the Aveo to their lineup IF there is enough interest shown.

Again that means I will send them a link to this post and they will watch it to see what kind of interest there is.

I copied an example of their work to show for you all here, but remember these are not the actual Aveo parts.

I would be interested in getting some if I wasn't on a lease and money wasn't as tight. That and first on the list of things for extra car money is the Brace that fabricatorx has built.

Have you considered making polyurethane inserts to go in the stock mounts? They would be fairly cheap to make/sell and they can be removed easily.

Also, the rear torsion bar has mounts similar to the motor mounts and could probably benefit from this as well.

same boat as mike, but fall is good to me. what's the point of this upgrade though? i mean my engine and tranny aren't going anywhere with the current mounts.

I've just over 21 000 km and I think my mounts are goners. Engine really jerks when I get on the gas or let go of it.... Time for warranty.

helps with kinetic energy transfer, dont quote me tho, i am no physics genious, heck i dont even know if i spelled genious right, or kinetic, lol.

Mine didn't move much either, but after stiffening the mounts the power just felt more responsive getting to the ground and shifters were much smother

This is still alive...I'm still looking for REALLY GOOD pictures of the mounts in the car, as well as a spare set that I can send to TurboTech Racing...so if you have any contributions let me know!!
