Well I'll be damned, the Haynes manual DOES Exist! (I even went to the official Haynes site to see if it was just someone playing a prank; and it is 100% TRUE!)

They must have recently published it cause I looked everywhere when I bought my Aveo and online and I couldn't find it anywhere. Edit: I searched for the ISBN number and it was recently published, on the 15th of December 2016

These links work, but it's not easy to get to the data w/o getting a lot of garbage. Sites like cardiagn house files, but they want you to use their app to get stuff. There are download apps like "JD downloader". Apps like it scour links and look for download'able files. One you get it all down, it's not a new-be friendly "here's how you fix XXX" like a Haynes or Chiltons.
Just my $0.02,
chuck
There also exists a Chilton repair book for the Aveo. Here is a link to Chilton's Aveo on Amazon. [ I am not affiliated w/ Amazon; it's just the 1st thing that showed up. ]

I FINALLY found the Paper Chilton's manual in the wild! Found it at my local O'reilly's while getting a replacement thermostat for Scootaloo!

Well, I bought it; and it actually explains the differences between the various model years pretty well. They actually used a 2007 sedan to base most of their pictures on.
