What is the difference between e-tech ii and ecotec for chevrolet aveo?

Do you or anyone on this forum know if it is possible to put a 2007 engine in a 2009

Its possible, but would be TONS of work. The engines are very different, have different wiring, etc.

Both engines are an interference design.

The Etec II is a Korean Daewoo engine thats very simple and very long lasting, the Ecotec Is German built Opel engine of the same displacement and relitively same horsepower with a lot more annoying electronic gadgets waiting to let you down. (Surprise a German engine that's over engineered right?)
