Torque Strut Mount Replacement Question?

2008 Aveo5 LT

I'm planning on replacing this mount soon. If anyone has done this replacement before could you please tell me:

1. Does the engine need to be supported when replacing this mount?
2. Does anyone know what the torque specs are for the bolts?

55 NM on torque. Yes support is a good idea

you dont have to support the engine as the two mounts that hold the engine up are still in there, the torque mount just keeps the engine from spinning with the front wheels. IF you cans hold the engine from spinning or ar not sure if the engine mounts are good, then you better support the engine.

I'm going to play it safe and support the engine....I have no experience with dogbone installs and I don't want any surprises once the bolts are removed.

unbolt it from the kframe first, the twist the engine forward, and hold it there, switch out the front bolt. and slide it back into the k frame, it will hole itself in there while you line up the bolts with the holes. Could be done in 5 minutes.
