Timing belt walks off cam gears about 1/4 inch

Done my first timing belt change and finding when turning the crank by hand the belt keeps wanting to walk off the cam sprockets a good 1/4. Something is definately out of line. Any suggestions ? Iv'e checked new tensioner.. All new gates hardware, (belt, idler, tensioner).

Inspect the Cam sprockets. Not likely but may need replacing. Other than that I'd check the adjustment on the water pump and tensioner.

I made a post about my timing belt and had to do this process twice due to what you are experiencing.
I think I added a picture and described it but what I did was all the typical stuff loosening the water pump and When you get to the point of lining up both sprockets to 3pm 9pm the left side is spring loaded so I put a breaker bar socket/ratchet sorry forget what it's called semi long and I put a 2x4 low side plus 1/4" and let the breaker bar sit on that to hold the gear timing correctly (this is also based on the jack under the engine! I forgot to mention that part. Then you are free to tighten everything up and do the double rotation etc... sorry just woke up so I'm groggy... That should fix you up you could buy the gear tool to hold it...
