      Re: supercharged cobalt engine

It would be a major pain in the butt to put that engine in the aveo...besides, i'm gettiong enough torque steer right now with the 1.6 liter, I can't imagine what the 2.0L supercharged would do to the half shafts or the control arm bushings ....
I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.

there is an install kit.. and the cobalt ss engine has been done by a sema company..

i would do it, if i could get a 2 door. might still do it when my engine is "tired"

      Re: supercharged cobalt engine

when i first joined this site there was a thread about it, it was available from who ever had the car at sema..
it wasn't an on the shelf kit, but they had/knew/would make all the pieces needed to make it work..

from what i understood it was $10k installed including the drive train parts and labor through them.
but the kit was like $1000?

also you use the cobalt transmission and custom axles.. and i think ss brakes? not sure now.

unfortunately, i cant find either thread that originally had info?
