Does anyone know what spark plugs are the best? I have heard NGK plugs are best and what about wires? Where can I find a decent set, not for 50 bucks... anything about them is nice to know. Instructions, any power gains, anything noticeable? Just let me know, Heard of some HP gain like, 1 or 2 if that through spark plugs and wires, True or false? Thanks guys. Looking to get new ones and need to know where to get them and how to install them myself is it hard?
What year is your car? There's several posts on here, pretty simple to do plugs on Aveos. Sounds like guys have good results with NGK. It is the original plug on our cars. But it's a copper plug I believe, so it has a shorter lifespan. Alot of guys here like the Iridiums, they last longer so you won't have to change them as frequently. And from the sounds of it here, our cars don't care for the platinums the same. I was going to put a set of cheapy NGK ZFR6F-11 (copper/nickel) plugs in. They're like $2/plug. If you're plug is worn you'll probably see some results from new plugs. For the set of plugs (even the Iridiums) it's worth the effort.
