Rabbit... I feel bad for you having to go through all that trouble and EXPENSE to get your ride up and running. I have a small repair shop out in a rural farming community and I get to see a lot of these kinds of issues with all different makes and models. I don't put claim to knowing everything about everything, but I generally do get things figured out and back running in the end.
I am convinced that the automotive manufactures keep trying to find new tricks to keep the average people like us from being able to repair or own vehicles, so we are solely dependent on them for our return business.
I would like to say that over the years I have been very grateful for people like yourself who have taken the time to post their troublesome issue with their vehicles.Having that valuable info as a tool at hand has helped me solve a lot of tricky automotive issues. Thanks again ! :D

I have a 2007 Aveo with 38,000 miles. I had the same problem about 2,000 miles ago. I could barely get the car to go 30mph. I limped it to the repair shop. I was told that one of the coils went bad (assuming there's multiple?), and the plug waire were replaced. It corrected the problem.
