replaced o2
well i replaced my o2 sensor today...the o2 sensor is listed for $153 but my dad got it for 103 thru work. everything installls fine except the wires dont give enough slack to plug the harness back into the mount after connecting...this can be fixed by zip tying it to the mount....one thing i noticed is how tiny the runners are on the header, like holy restrictiveness...cant wait til i get the new header on there because there has to be an improvement with how small the stock one is

Why'd you change your O2 sensor?
-
because it was broke...my CAI was drawing in alot of excess oil from the engine and burning which probably caused it to fail
-
Perhaps a catch can would help?
-
yea that will be coming soon...but i am fine for now and havent had draw in any oil like that again...one i think i put a tad too much oil in that time and i angled the intake pipe down more so oil doesnt run towards the throttle body

Someone could get the exact spec of oil to put in. I know in big rigs that's how it used to work. You'd put the recommended amount, and never would you have to put some more and never were you over.
That's how I did it in the Oldsmobile... exactly 4 liters....
