Repairing a motor mount - or should I replace it

So while replacing my timing belt I noticed that the passenger side motor mount had some tears in the rubber.
My questions: Should I just fill the thing and make it a solid motor mount?
Would having just 1 solid motor mount be a bad idea?

Or should I just order a new one?

If its not clunking around I'd just leave it. Either of your options works too though if you're looking for something to do.

Interesting bot reply but either way - yes it is clunking, so I will probably rip into it.

Yes, it would. Most parts are designed to serve a purpose - and the purpose of a motor mount is to have some 'give' (flexibility) in it.

Why not? As replacement parts go, they are relatively inexpensive. I agree that you might as well wait until it fails, then deal with it.
