      P0445 and P0599

well, the DTCs are starting to pile up; I replaced the Thermostat after scoot scoot spit out a P0597 at me several times. now I have a P0599 and a P0445 in addition to the False P0420 that pops up now and again. ive checked all the connections both electrical and EVAP to the Purge valve on the intake manifold. (i think my P0599 has something to do with my coolant consumption problem, which I finally managed to trace to the radiator side tanks leaking; so that means I can kiss $200 goodbye for a radiator.) but I am kind of stumped on the P0445; I havent had any problems when refueling, but i still have that annoying chuggle when fully warmed up. any help is appriciated.

Can you test to see weather the solenoid is good or not? I would assume its probably above/near the tank, but I'm not sure on the 2010. If you have the manual, there should be a solenoid coil resistance test you can do on it.

I’ll check the service manual after I pick up my radiator from autozone (they decided to drop the price all the way down to $118!)

well, time to bring this thread back from the dead: my P0445 morphed into two codes; a P0446 and a P0451; a quick look at this video from the South Main Auto Repair youtube channel finally solved those two codes! (the Fuel Tank Pressure sensor went bad! the Stealership wanted nearly $200 for it, while the Local Autozone had it for a MUCH more affordable $53!)

that same youtube channel has a video on the P0599 but on a Sonic. unfortunately, the P0599 means I have to replace the thermostat AGAIN; but I only have a couple of choices of where I can get the thermostat and they range as low as $90 for just the thermostat/water neck/heater to an eyewatering $350 for the whole shebang (thermostat, water neck, heater, and the rear housing that has the heater hose ports, throttle body heater ports, and the water pump outlet port)
