P0106 With New Engine
Hi, so I just finished swapping an LUW 1.8L into my wave. It will start and idle, but the throttle response is all over the place and it will sometimes throw P0106 and die. I figures having both MAF and MAP sensors, it would be able to figure out how much fuel to use, but trims are off by 25%. It is pulling around 40KPa of vacuum at idle, and I don't hear leaks. Could it be the sensor? Maybe improper learning after the swap? Or do I need a tune?

Fuel trims are fine now. I'm running pretty good once I get to 3000RPM. The throttle response is a disaster below that. Now throwing p0068 (MAP/MAF throttle correlation). I've tried to relearn the throttle position to no avail.

I seem to have found the issue! I unplugged the crank sensor and now the car will idle, rev, and drive. The bottom end seems weak but no weaker than the 1.6. I'll change the sensor and get back.

We're you able to successfully swap out the 1.8 LUW with no issues?
