Oil Pressure Sending Unit

If I install an electrical oil pressure gauge and splice it into the wire on the stock sending unit, will the voltage be correct to give me an accurate reading? I assume it's not a wide-band sensor (or whatever you call it), but maybe?

I don't think so, Think where its just a light and not a gauge sensor its just a one or two wire sensor to tell you you have presser or you don't kinda thing
