      Front Clip

I posted a long time ago asking about a rattle in the front end of my car.. usually the worst while in reverse with the a/c on. I was thinking.. Do you guys think it could just the fan in the front clip hitting something? It does seem to be getting unbearable.. I just dont use my a/c anymore.. that usually quiets it for the most part. It's so loud that if I am going to pull up to a stoplight, I will usually shut off my a/c just to avoid some emarassment from the sound.

My baby still runs great, and still has not seen a shop in her 45,000 mile journey so far. I love her for that!

      Ideas?
      -Jay

this may be just an off the cuff statement, but i had a rattle in my front end and it turned out that i had knocked a round shield loose off the flex pipe which looked like a tin donut placed around the flex pipe.

my lil ring shield thing on my flex pipe is loose to. i actually cut myself on the thing.

hae you popped the hood with the car on and ac on to see if you can find it that way? or how about spinning that radiator fan upfront and see if its catching on anything. do you have a SRI or CAI specifically a homemade one??? i know mine sometimes rattles a bit on the radiator support bar when slowing down to a near stop, or it sometimes rattles a bit on startup or shutdown. i dont worry bout much but just a thought.
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.
