Looking to do an engine transmission swap on a 2007 aveo 1.6 e tech has anyone ever done this out the top of the car if so how hard was it Haynes manuel said to drop it out the bottom but I don't have a lift any ideas or suggestions would be great thanks
if you can't take it out the bottom, do you have the tools to take it out the top?
You don't "need" a lift. the engine is like 20" high? sou you drop it, and slide it out under the wheel well where the car has the most clearance. (with the on jack stands, set to @ 18") It's possible.
