      Engine oil pan bolts

Where can I get new oil pan bolts at for my 2010 Chevy Aveo LT? I can’t even find a part number on any Gm parts site. All I know is the bolt is a hex head and it’s a 8mm.

If you are referring to the 15 bolts that hold the drain pan to the block on 2009-2011 Aveos, then my source suggests part number 11517518, which is a common M6 bolt used on many GM vehicles. The price for individual bolts might be shocking, so be warned.

I found that part number too. But most part sites say it doesn’t fit the Chevy aveo? Does it match the factory bolts? The factory bolts are like a torx head bolt and the heads damage easy. I just did an oil pan and sealed it. The oil pan is still leaking a tiny bit causing a drop of oil to drip down the pan. Some bolts I couldn’t torque because the heads of those bolts were damage so therefore I couldn’t torque them.
