I think this is bull...
its universal youd have to MAKE it work
i seen it yesterday, it will work after you make it work which will not be easy lol
bbk might make em if we beg :)
we have drive by wire which means more work than just hooking up a cable..
but you could try adapting a vw throttle body on..
for the older aveos it's an actual throttle cable so it could work
of course with a lot of work
which in other words too much work
beg bbk with me
eh, throttle body spacer, as an adapter. mounting the TPS if you have cable, or using the larger vw DBW with the aveo send retrofitted, capping a vacuum line or using it, and running a bypass on the coolant.. (if needed)
i could do it.
just bore out the stock one, but then again with our whole intake system being somewhat restrictive probably much wont be had without also doing the head and maybe intake manifold
and with the plastic intake manifold, we would be better off making a flange and then welding a metal high flow intake on from another car... and then port match everything, do port work to the head, and then get a less restrictive exhaust manifold.
with all that work you might as well do an engine swap.
fixed for you :)Quote:

i honestly think the aveo is a good starting point.
it is built alot like a vw rabbit, or earlier golf. it even has the same suspension design. The interior is nice, the engine has potential.
if we had a 2 door it would be even better..
there just are no bolt on parts.
i seen a intake manifold on a korean site once, but they never responded to me :cry:Quote:

how much would it be for a custom one?
That depends on the shop you choose, and what you have them do..
building it to you specs could be @ 300+ If they need to figure out tuning and flow etc, double that. If you have them change a flange and use an already made manifold it could start @ $100 if you supply the parts.
my custom manifold, a stock 16v VW lower manifold mated to a custom flange to how 48mm ITB's:
