different motors come in the newer aveos?

i got into an argument friday with the guy at the junk yard that aveos all have the same motor and he told me they did not i havent heard of any of them having different motors so correct me or him ????

they all have the same engine as of right now...in 09 there will be no longer be this engine they will all be ecotec engines.

in 2009 they will have a 1.8L ecotec and a 2.0 ecotec. the 2.0 will have 125hp and it will be in the "sport" aveo

hahaha a 2.0L with 125 hp...whats this engine prehistoric...but with the original question the junkyard guy might be talking about the difference when the throttle body switch to drive by wire instead of cable

Nah, it's just stupid how restricted they are. We see tons more gains on the dyno from intakes, exhaust, pulley, ect on the U20SED than most other cars.

The 1.8 has 138 in the Astra. Doesn't even make sense to put the 2.0 in it. Just a de-tuned 1.8 and a normal 1.8 would be fine.

yea they should do just to versions of the 1.8L with comparable power to that of the matrix, vibe ect.
