Dex cool alternative?

Hi folks newbie here.just bought a 2010 aveo 5 with 67k.id like to replace dex cool with alternative coolant.any thoughts?THANK U!

Short of products like "water wetter" or purple ice, I am not sure of the benefits for going to a different coolant. Dex cool is made to not rust or degrade the system components. If you are looking for more readily available I tend to use the yellow universal coolant in any cheaper car I have owned.

Do not use anything other than DexCool unless you completley flush out the DexCool; otherwise the coolant can gel up.

Myself, I ran just the regular green stuff in both of my Aveos without issue.
