So after a bunch of research here on the forum i went with the ebay cold air intake and im havin issues.. When installed the top pipe hits the strut tower and the bottom hits the edge of the hole and rattles when the gas is let off. Is there anyone who has had this issue and figured it out. Which one did you buy? I had bought the chrome intakes one and the elbow pipe that connects to the TB did not fit right, so I used my SRI and just added on to it. Mine also rattles once in a while when it is cold out, if the pipe is near anything, it will knock againsit it, any pics?

I had a smaller filter which barely fits in there but it works, but I think they have been messing up the elbows! You can message them to return it or just buy one of the SRI's, they are cheap, but use the SRI, then add the second pipe off the CAI and you should be set (not sure about the filter though) you just have to work with it and fine tune it

ok so ive looked some more online and although i had put it completly out of my mind, i noticed there are a few people on here who have the AEM cai ... On their website its listed as fitting the 04-07 but isn't the 07- -8 the same basically?? and if it is for those people who do have that one how is the fitment? Like rubbing on ANYTHING, filter fitment, and everything i dont wanna spend the money honestly but i will if it will fit perfectly and it definatly looks good.

did you try turning the pipes around or anything? i'm not sure what you are doing, but i know they are not labeled.

a few people have the chrome intakes system, and no one has reported that it simply does not fit.

as for the rattling, you need to use the hole tape stuff, and also mount it, (better than the one piece of strapping they give you).

i run one in the summer, it does rattle and its a tight fit in the wheel well with the filter. i took it off for winter. but when it gets nice again im thinking of buying some single pieces of pipe to fix it myself.
