Clutch replacement

Hey! I have an 08 chevy aveo ls, I'm trying to replace the clutch but I'm stuck trying to pull the axles out of transmission. I tried a crowbar, but there's really no space to come in from behind, same thing for the slide hammer. Please help, am I not suppose to just pull it out?
I'm new to the forum, so please forget me if I'm doing something wrong. Than you all in advance.

Yeah, they just pop out. I'm pretty sure I used one or two (one on each side helps) flat bars to get mine out. They can be stubborn though.
