Do you have a part list of what you have so far?
Have you done anything to strengthen the axels to handle the extra hp?

well,i've thought about all the possibilites of everything going wrong and what i can try to prevent but really it's trial and error.i mean don't get me wrong i'm doing this for myself first and formost (haha)but as long as i was on the other forum there were 1000 people talking about doing it and no one ever actually did.so basically i'm going to be a test dummy for everyone eles and hope people follow the lead and start boosting theirs also.if it blows oh well if it runs good which i'm hoping then awesome.but if i blow it people will know not to do what i did lol and i hope it will help everyone in some small way and i'll keep all your guys posted.

      heres your list texas:
(if theres anything eles i need that you can think of ,i prolly have it, just forgot,i have 7 boxes filled with parts at the garage ,it's a mess haha)

are you starting at like 5 psi and then turning up to see how high it can go? cause if so make sure you take note of when the intake mani breaks if it does....any fuel changes?

yes i'm going 4 psi-and tuning up hopefully 7-8 range with good tuning.im worried about detonation so not much the mani,i think it will hold.
yeah i'll have to be running 94 octane and above as soon as i get all this on and tuned.

just make sure your get a good tune....rsx peopel run 11:1 cp ratio with around 7- 10 psi and have no problems, because it is all in the tune and gas u use....the only reason i say watch for the manifold is because i have yet to see another car with a plastic manifold that has been boosted...

i just read thru this thread and chrishasboost; sweet buildup man! i'm heading in the same direction you are, if you do get the e-manage to run with the aveos ecu, that will be probably the biggest breakthru, cause thats the hard part lol.
what trim and A/R is your turbo? i'm thinking of getting a smaller t3/t4 like a 50 trim with .48 A/R for a faster spool versus something like a 57 or 60 trim with .63 A/R.
the way i figure it, i wont be running much boost for a while till all the tuning issues are sorted out, why running a larger turbo that will be slower spooling when i'm only gonna be running what, 5 psi? IF tuning issues are solved and higher boost levels can be run then i'll just upgrade the turbo. in the mean time i'll enjoy the 5 psi more cause it will hardly lag, apparently a .48 A/R will give almost instant boost, just a little above idle. and since the aveo only revs to 6500 rpm anything bigger is kinda pointless.

so did you just order those off of online places?
i think i might be able to start my turbo project sooner than i thought.
I want to run a higher boost with a t25 but i dont know from reading if that is possible.
maybe i can test dummie that lol.
Cant wait to see your final project tho.

Wow you guys are only gonna boost at 5k rpm. with a t 3/4 you need to run a t25 for this small of an engine, and only 5 psi
