Ok so I got a chevy aveo and I gotten a little used to it but I would feel much safer and better if it were a automatic. Is it possible to change it from a manual to an automatic? If so what are my total costs looking like? Please help.

Probably be cheaper and easier to trade it in and buy an automatic...
Definitely easier and cheaper to get a car with the automatic already in it.
Another idea: find a local driving school that teaches manual shift, and go for some lessons. Much less expensive, AND you improve a personal skill.
How long have you had the car for? When I first got mine, it was the first stick shift I've ever owned and only like the 3rd stick I've ever even drove. After owning the car for a little over a month, I feel so much more comfortable and smooth driving and shifting it. It just takes a little bit of breaking in time to get used to driving it. But in all honesty if you really want it automatic, you would be better off trading it for one. It would be more work than it's worth to swap it.
In all honesty, I think the aveo was only fun because it was a stick. :P
That's exactly why I love mine.
