CAI on a 2008 Aveo5 LT with AC

The inexpensive chrome CAI on E bay lists compatible with every model except mine. What the Heck!? Has any one fitted one to my model? I am capable of performing minor mods but know my limits.

Also, is the filter stil protected behind body work or the fender liner? I am in Edmonton with snow and slush and crap 9 months of the year.

      Thanks.

That was my thought except it specifically does not mention 2008 hatchback LT for some reason. Hopefuly just an oversight as I really want either this one or the other one advertised.

Yes 2009+ has a different engine, 2008 and down is all the same. The sedan and hatch differ very little, but most things like a CAI will work on any first gen. I would never go by what they say on eBay, most of the listings have errors and such. The CAI should be fine, the only issue you will have is if it is completely submerged in water, which is highly unlikey but unless you drive through lakes you should be fine.

Ive orderd one of those cai before it fits just fine. Also dont oil the filter, just run it dry as i couldnt work out why i was destroying so many mass air flow sensors lol. 04-08 aveo parts are all the same!
