That's interesting. Do you know if it's an electromagnetic clutch on the compressor that's disengaging?
If it is, you could probably monitor it by tapping into / monitoring the control wire.
A ScanGauge or OBD-II diagnostic laptop app would give you the TPS / load / RPM values as well.

I have some pictures and stuff but haven't written up the post yet. I still have a few more things I want to do such as heat wrap my CAT and try some subtle vents to allow the under hood heat to escape.
