      2009 Aveo: Inner/Outer tie rods

Do Aveo's have Inner/Outer tie rods issues ?

For some reason my local alignment shot told me that my inner tie rods were bad, plus that the tie rods on these are only good for 50-60 thousand miles.

      Any truth to this ?

      Salto

I'd say that you're doing business with a clip joint.

It is a major brand company, I think the guy on the alignment rack may not know what he is doing or it could be an up-sell job then.

I will check both sides for any play.

      The information is appreciated.

This is a major company in Colorado. I need to test both sides closer, but I do not know for sure.

I have the parts no matter what.

      2009 Aveo with 95,000 miles.

Won't they let you under the car to show you why the parts need changing?
I use LesSchwab and they have ALWAYS let me be under the vehicle with the mechanics to show me what was worn out.

Disconnected the drivers side (Left) tie rod and there is no slop, same for the inner tie rod.
