2008 aveo 5 will not find or go into reverse

Replaced the shifter linkage and will not find or go into reverse all other gears are good

Can I ask you did it work ever for you ? or did you ever us reverse before? "If it did might be the linkage". or you need left up on the shifter while shifting to reverse gear loction. GOOD LUCK LET US KNOW what happedto it.

I purchased the linkage from gmeast for $55 the linkage a sleeve piece into the shifter tube I marked the depth but note the rotation after sveral hour of frustration the light came on made the proper adjustment and retunred to service note to self mark everything

IT will eventually, but there's also a lot of play in the hand shifter, but that is fine it was replaced a few months ago, the master clutch cylinder was replaced a year ago, ...seems to be air in the system, tranny seems good. Any suggestions?
