      Hello all name is ed,own a hand me down 08 Chevy Aveo 4 dr sedan.
      Tons of mods and fab work done here. Pics I posted are only 2 and old so far I've had the car myself 4 about a yr.more up to date pics will follow.
      (ENGINE) Ecu R&D work done with a buddy I know ,ecu has a microsquirt piggyback unit wired into the harness with 2 usb slots added for tuning/diagnostics. Full engine rebuild/blueprint,honing,ported to 0.030 over. Cylinder head ported/polished w/3angle valve job,Custom comp cam set(Cams,roller lifters,springs). D16/18 Custom turbo header,2.5"D16/18 downpipe fabbed w/hi flow cat, Cx racing gt35 turbo w/.70AR. 2.25" intercooler system w/piping. Custom 2.25" straight pipe exhaust w/turbo style muffler.
      SUSPENSION- KYB shocks/struts,H&R springs, whiteline modified cobalt SS swaybars, 6pt custom subframe takedown cradle. TIRES 185/50R 15,Rims-Enkei lightweight 6 spoke.
      Exterior-mesh vented hood/fenders, functional bodykit(might fab a wide body kit w/fiberglass/Carbonfiber).

      Used to rally the aveo for a bit until blew the suspension out and cv axles lmao
      Turbo sits at a conservative 6.5-7psi dynoed at 202hp and 194.5ftlb with tuning and all the mods in the engine.
      In the future looking to convert to rwd and swap in either a 1.4L or a vortec 4.3L v6

      Update though-I went from a top style intercooler to a front mount about 2 months ago. Like I said pics are old.

      Sounds very fun! Did you do the work yourself, or have a shop do it?

      Most of the work I did myself except the R&D work having the damn microsquirt piggyback unit communicate w the ecu my buddy is a wizard with that stuff. The D18 header was done by me at first I did an upswept style but when I went from a top mount 2 a front mount style intercooler it got a bit tricky I was able to use the OEM air filter ducting intake hole for the charge intake side to the intercooler. The turbo now sits snug where the battery used to be(trunk battery relocation). The D18 header was swept to the right(driver side)space was an issue. It doesn't look great but it functions well.ill probably tweak the layout a bit to make it look better in the future.
