      08 Aveo differential adjuster

Long story short I was replacing my driver side cv axle and it came with this new adjuster bearing. I can't for the life of me get the old one out, I got it like 2-3 full rotations and damaged many of the teeth in the process, to which now reassembling with new axle causes awful screeching. I have to get this adjuster replaced, does anyone have suggestions on what tool to use or how to go about it? Online seems to know nothing about it's existence as far as I can tell other than to buy a replacement.. Help! Car has 100k miles and has been down for about 6 months now. Name: 20250823_115454.jpg

Your photo does not show up I had a 08 with and auto trans, l to remove an axil you cannot just yank them out as inner cv is a tri/wye and will just come out of the CV body you need a tool and a slide hammer to remove it as far a adjuster tool are yo doing something internal to trans you have an auto as in the photo it looks like and auto oil pan

Buy another adjuster, weld a socket to it and use the teeth on the new one to mesh into the other.
