Hey guys after almost a year I finally have time to work on my aveo again.
First order of business I need to remove the stock springs holders of the rear suspension, I need to makes room for my brake calipers and make bracket to mount them.

Passenger side is a little more trickier due to having camber on this side that I need to fix -1.5 degrees. Now it is still with in spec but just at the limit of being out. Name: 20191213_154729.jpg

Sorry about the pictures I don't understand why they are coming out upside down.

Your pictures are very inspiring, one thought came to mind - have you sized the rear calipers and the rear tires to match the fronts.. its just if they are too big they skid, or one gets over steer from under steer, or etc. I assume there is a rule of thumb.

Thanks man, I will be installing proportioning valve this will allow me to manually control the rear brake pressure. Allowing the front brakes to do most of the braking, now if I make the rear of the aveo heaver I can allow more pressure to the rears but unless if I make a roll cage for it I will be adjusting(tuning) it and forgetting about it Name: 20191214_111830.jpg

Well the rear brakes are almost finish just need to fix the parking brake cable. Now I pulled out the front sub-frame (k member) out, I will be making it into a tubular frame, I love the idea of things being unique so tomorrow I'll be heading to pick up some more tube and a sheet of metal make a jig.Name: 20191217_184208.jpg

Is there any chance you can weigh that whole sub frame setup? I would very interested how much lighter your setup would be, if you got the time. And what type of materials too. Fabrication is the funnest to research and learn.
