I have standard button locks that I would like to convert to power. Im not sure what kind of kit i would need since I hear that some models need a cable accuater or something like that. Does anyone know if my car would need one of these or a basic kit. Thanks...

it depends really on what you want to attach it to to unlock the door.
the "universal" kits are ok, if you can attach it.. but you will need the actuators and all.
I have a 2009 Aveo, and i installed the universal power lock kit from autoloc.com. They have a couple of options, you can get just the actuators and wiring harness or you can add the keyless entry. I have the kit with the keyless entry, and i installed it about a year ago and it still works great! Probably the hardest part was installing all the actuators and getting them mounted right, but all in all it wasn't too difficult.
