vehicle speed sensor wiring?

i recently installed a pioneer 8100 nex navigation radio in my girlfriends 2007 chevy aveo ls sedan i have almost everything hooked up except the output from the vehicle speed sensor can anyone help me out as to where to connect this? or a wiring diagram of the vss i know its located drivers side top of transmission and theres a 2 wire plug in but which wire and would i tie in here or under the dash where it feeds the speedo? thanks

Pin #3 at the VSS; #2 going into the cluster speedo; or#25 at the TCM. All wires are dark green with white tracer.

However, the VSS is a 3-wire connector, with pink at #1, and blk/white at #2

im lost whats the tcm? you said the vss is a 3 wire connector pink and black/white, so whats the 3rd wire?

Transmission Control Module. The 3rd wire is the dark green w white signal wire.

That radio just increased the cost by a quarter. I love inexpensive cars however when a radio is now a major cost Hey these aveos are worth it.

sorry been a busy weekend, ok so wheres the tcm located? Somebody told me the ecm on the strut tower but theres so many wires i gave up n turned to here.... whats the box inside the car mounted on firewall just left of brake pedal theres 2 plug ins and one of which was green with a white stripe currently thats what its hooked to but the radio has a fault code for no vss connection.
