You want to lower your car and get bigger tires?
I bought new Cooper Cobra Radial GT 215/60R14's for the Front and 215/70's on the Rear of my 04' 5sp Sedan. Stock wheels. The fronts only rub lightly at full turn but it's fine. The rear's rub the body seam inside the wheel well straight up and the lower rear plastic mudflap piece on hard bumps. A few healthy hits with a hammer to fold the seam over flat and I temporarily took off the plastic piece and it's pretty much good. I'm gonna put 215/60's tires on the rear soon to match the front and so I can put that plastic mud flap/bumper support back in.
My winter tires are the 195/75R14 BFG All-Terrain T/A KO's pretty much the biggest tire that'll fit with out raising the ride height.

      I had the same sizes

My rear tire poped after rubbing for a while, but I didn't do the hammer mod you did on your car.
