I have a 2011 aveo⁵. Head gasket was bad so I took it apart. The head needed cut. It took about .030" to clean it up. Put in a new head gasket ND timing belt. I got it running but idle is rough. I push the gas and after coming off of idle it runs great. Any suggestions? I did have the cam pulleys off to cut the head. Also bought the tool to line them back up.

Ok. What do you mean by that?
Idle air control motor.
It’s on the back of the throttle body.
could be bad…or unplugged (maybe forgotten when you put everything back together), fuse blown….

I will check. I think the throttle plate is controlled by that same plug but I will check to make sure and check for any fuses as well. Thank you.
Disregard my suggestion. I now know that a 2011 does not have that valve.

That's fine. Thank you anyway. Being I took that much off the head, I'm hoping from what I've read it just has to relearn idle.
