      Timing

I don’t know if this has been asked already but I have a 2009 Aveo, and I am having trouble with the intake and exhaust timing being over advanced p0011 and p0014 I think that’s what the codes are. And it sometimes sounds like a diesel, the noise is coming from the cam phaser area. I have changed the oil, replaced both of the VVT solenoids, and the intake and exhaust cam phasers it’s still doing the same issue. Has anyone had this problem before? I have no clue in what direction to go to now

Did you have the timing belt changed recently? Whether yes or no, temoving the timing cover and make sure the belt is lined up correctly. Even being off by one tooth will pull these codes. A belt in poor condition can jump a tooth or two on the timing gears

Yes about a year ago belt broke so I replaced all valves etc. and the code only shows up sometimes. It’s completely random
