slapped a v-tec sticker on my car today!!

j/k, I should get an e-tec II tho lol. just to see what people would say, I'd probably get called a ricer...

anyway, after months of owning my aveo now, I want to remove the dealer stickers located on the back hatch door. does anyone have any experience doing so without messing up the paint or leaving sticky residue on the car?

When I buy a car, I tell the dealer not to put that crap on it unless they are going to take off another $3K for advertising. Needless to say, they don't put their stickers on the car.

As you can see, I also take off all the AVEO LT and Chevy emblems. I like a clean look.

The best way, I've found, is to use a hair drier to heat the adhesive and just peel off the lettering using a fingernail or some dental floss. Use some isopropal alcohol to clean up the sticky residue then wax the area when you are done.

dental floss or fishing line and 91% isopropyl alcohol.

Yup... It's just a vinyl so peel it off with your finger and then use RUBBING alcohol to clean the surface...
