Second hand car Purchase

Hi:

I am purchasing a second hand 2009 Pontiac G3 Wave - manual.

The test drive was good. I noticed there is a airbag light besides the clock with the number 2. What is that about? Is that mean something wrong with airbag 2?

with no one in the passenger seat the airbag is not "active",does this answer your question

Just to add to Pooh Man's response....once someone sits in the passenger seat the airbag light should turn off letting you know it is now active and ready for use.
