      Road trip music

So here in a couple of months im going to be driving back home for a couple weeks. from my barracks in kansas to my driveway in north carolina it 1067 miles and 16 hours, 57 minutes (according to mapquest) what i want to do is build a massive road trip playlist so i dont have to mess with my ipod or hear the same song twice. any advice on songs is appreciated. (fyi my favorites genres are dubstep, classic rock, rap, rock, and a little bit of everything else) IDK how but we could probally sticky this for any other taking road trips and wanting to broaden their listening horizon.

My 10 hour drive to new orleans last week. my ipod consisted of (my main choices not my wifes lol) metallica, ozzy, def leppard, aerosmith, and linkin park. My ipod was used when I got it a few weeks ago so some tracks were already on there, what I listed were bands I specifically loaded for my enjoyment

You gotta have some Korn, Metallica, Disturbed, Slipknot etc.....headbangin always seems to make the miles fly by faster. I just can't drive long distances listening to some R Kelly or slow music, it makes my eyes heavy.

I had to look up dubstep Dubstep - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I think I am going to research this further and see if I like it. OK I am going to throw out some of my favorite bands. They Might be Giants, The Who, The Guess Who, Yes and Rush. I liked RoRo suggestions.
Please do not power off, firmware update pending.....

You might need a doobie, but Close to the Edge is a cool song, for those mountain passes.

Also 'Driving at Night' and 'the Snake' from Joe Satriani are great too. Don't get caught up speeding to them..

Fleetwood Mac and U2 are really good to take a trip to. The two top songs the radio likes to play on a road trip are ...
      U2's I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For , and
Fleetwood Mac's Gypsy. Those are the two songs I would recommend for your trip, and I thank you for your military service.
