Lately, Wells Fargo has been running a TV ad that offers ONE day, non-penalty, for overdraft protection. To illustrate their "generous" offer, the ad shows several cars being towed when their parking time has expired with the exception of one very red, very cute pre-2004 Daewoo Lanos hatchback. However, the distinctive grill of the Lanos gives a clue to a Daewoo entry in the U.S. market sold by Chevrolet dealers up to and including 2002. "That one gets an extra day" is the reply of the tow boss when asked if the Lanos is to be hooked up and towed with the others. A computer has "painted out" all makes/model badges.Then the owner emerges, gets in, and drives off in her red Lanos, with no tow fee, a big smile because of the EXTRA day protection.
