New, got a sweet deal, would like some info!

Hey everybody, my name is marc

I recently out a down payment on what I believe is an awesome deal! I found a 5 speed 2007 Aveo5 (the 4d hatch)
with only 82k miles, for 3000! I put down half, as I won't have the other half until after christmas! Obviously, I wont have the car in my possesion until I pay the rest off, but I just wanted to know if there is anything specifically I should get looked at or upgrade right away? Any information helps, I would just like to hear if there are any specific things I should be taking a look at.

Top of list IMO is to make sure that the timing belt (waterpump included) was replaced. The belt must be replaced at 60,000 miles. If the work hasn't been done and you are a DIY type of guy/gal there are some pretty good detailed threads to help ytou tackle this project.
