Lordstown Plant Tour in Youngstown,OH

hey fellas! just wanted to say hello. got my new cruze up to 51K now since 12/23/11. wifes new Sonic only has 15k on it. I wanted you all to know that I still jump back in here from time to time to read and catch up and occasionally post. cruzetalk.com was just invited to the Lordstown plant for a tour of assembly and the metal stamping plant. thirty of us including myself drove out to Lordstown and the person who drove the farthest was from Amarillo,tx. as you all know I bought the cruze eco package with the 1.4L Turbo and 6spd manual tranny. there are days I truly with I had just bought the automatic instead. I'm trying to find myself another aveo to drive around. still miss mine terribly and I think hindsight being 20/20 I should've just kept mine. anyway take care and see you on the forums! oh if you'd like to see the lordstown pics they are all posted on cruzetalk.com under "regional events and meets" then look for the Lordstown threads. www.cruzetalk.com

there are days everyone who drives a stick wishes the had an automatic. I call it sitting in traffic, especially traffic up hill. after a long hard day, working the clutch that much feels like you would have less of a workout walking home.

hey pickles its just like petrified.rabbit said. long days at work, traffic sometimes or mainly as fun as the stick is, and the amount of mpg I get out of my cruze eco I just sometimes would rather just have the auto instead. less thinking involved. as far as the wifes sonic is concerned she absolutely loves it! as much as we both loved the first gen aveo the new sonic is a completely different level of driving experience. its larger, feels more solid, feels more powerful, has built in bluetooth and all around just better. I have to say the aveo has evolved very nicely. the only reason I bought the cruze over the sonic sedan is that its was only a couple thousand more and had a little more room although the backseat legroom in it is completely useless. no space at all!
