issue with my 08 aveo 5 hatchback

hey i just purchased an 2008 chevy aveo 5 ls and today when i was parked in a parking spot with the ac on all of a sudden i looked at the temperature gauge and it was reading just a little over halfway mark, nothing crazy. i get out to see if the fan kicked on, and there is coolant everywhere. Dont know what it is any help would be much appreciated

Wipe up all of the coolant, top it up (once it's cooled off), start it back up, and watch to see where it's leaking from.

I agree with avguy, however, check the leaking fluid by taste and smell first. You may find its just condensation from the ac evaporator in the car.
